Web Design for Architects

We design, write and build websites for architects and architecture practices across the UK, with the SEO foundations, tracking and hosting handled by the same team that builds it.

Our architect web design service builds your website around the work you want more of, whether that's extensions, new homes or commercial work in the areas your clients live. Every project type gets its own page, your portfolio loads quickly at full quality and the site is set up so Google knows what you design and where.

A Website That Wins Work

Clients judge your practice by its website before they ever pick up the phone. If it looks cheap or out of date, they'll assume the work is too and ring the next practice on the list.

Charge What You're Worth

A website that looks as considered as your work lets you quote with confidence and win the clients who care about good design more than the lowest fee.

Get the Jobs You Want

Building the site around the work you want more of means your new-build and listed building pages bring in those enquiries rather than tyre-kickers.

Room to Grow

The website keeps up as the practice grows. New team members and awards slot straight in and you can add finished projects yourself.

Our Recent Websites

Here's some of our recent work for architects, trades and the other businesses we build for. Every site is built to rank locally and turn visitors into enquiries.

What's in an Architect's Website

Every architecture website we build is put together to a strict standard so that it's secure, visible and ready to scale. Here's what's included under the hood of every project.

  • A portfolio with large, sharp images that still load fast on a phone
  • Every type of project you take on gets its own page
  • Your ARB registration and RIBA chartered status are shown where clients check them
  • Location pages for the towns with real search demand, with the rest listed so customers know you cover them
  • A clear guide to your process, your stages and how fees are worked out
  • Enquiry tracking from day one that shows which page produced the enquiry

A Fast, Full-Quality Portfolio

Architectural photography only works if it’s big and sharp. That’s also what slows a portfolio down. Compressing every image to WebP and loading galleries in stages lets projects look right on a phone without the wait.

Extensions, loft conversions, new homes, listed buildings and commercial schemes each get a page of their own, with the projects that match. A client with a listed cottage sees your listed work first, on a page Google can show for that search.

Your ARB registration, RIBA chartered practice status and any awards or press sit where clients look for them. Clients notice it because only people on the ARB register can call themselves architects in the UK.

We research the towns you cover before we build and create location pages for the areas with genuine search demand. The rest are listed clearly so clients know you’ll come out to them. We also wire in your Google Business Profile, your reviews and Schema markup so Google understands exactly what you do and where you do it.

Many clients have never hired an architect before. A page that walks through the stages of a project, what happens at each one and how your fees are worked out answers the questions they’re nervous to ask.

Speed and security are non-negotiable. We optimise all media into modern WebP formats, output clean code so your pages load rapidly and set up enquiry tracking so that you can see which pages are bringing in calls and forms.

Our Web Design Process

We don't like to leave things to chance which is why we follow a 4-step process that keeps your website delivered on time, strictly to brief and engineered for results from day one.

1. Discovery and Planning

We gather all your assets and conduct a full audit of your current online presence. We plan the site structure, map out the required pages and agree on the design direction before we start building. For a practice that means the project types you want more of and the areas your clients are in.

We build your site on a private domain to ensure zero downtime to your business operations. We write the copy, build the bespoke layouts and keep you updated throughout. You have plenty of opportunity to review the work and request revisions to ensure it’s exactly what you want. We’ll ask for your best project photography and drawings along with the story behind each scheme.

Before anyone else sees the site, we run it through our internal testing protocols. We test all contact forms, optimise performance, ensure cross-browser compatibility and verify that all SEO foundations and functionality is operating as intended. That includes every gallery, checked for image quality and load times on phones, tablets and large screens.

We handle the technical complexities of going live. We connect your Google Search Console, submit your new sitemaps and ensure a flawless, zero-downtime migration from your old site so you don’t lose a single visitor or email during the switch. We also connect your Google Business Profile to the new site on launch day.

Who You'll Work With

KK Digital is a family-run agency that Katie founded in 2017, with Will leading the web development and SEO. The people you speak to are the people doing the work, and you'll have the same point of contact before, during and after launch.

What It Costs

We don't use rigid pricing tiers. Our bespoke builds range between £1,500 and £15,000 depending on scope, and we run a proper discovery phase first so you get a clear, fixed-price proposal.

Who Owns the Website

Once everything's paid, the finished website is yours.

What Our Clients Say

Architect Web Design FAQs

How much does a website for an architect cost?

We don’t use rigid pricing tiers because every practice has different requirements. Our bespoke website builds range between £1,500 and £15,000, depending on the size of your portfolio, the number of project pages and features like filtered galleries. We conduct a proper discovery phase first so we can provide a clear, fixed-price proposal. Tell us about your practice.

Most of our builds take three to six weeks. How quickly you can send your photography, drawings and project notes decides where you land in that. Because we work in clear phases, we stick to the agreed launch date once you’ve sent everything we need. You’ll see the whole site on a private link before it goes live.

No credible agency can promise a specific position. What we do is build every architecture website with the on-page, technical and local SEO foundations in place, including a page for each project type, location pages for the areas you cover, structured data and a connected Google Business Profile. If you want to grow your visibility after launch, our SEO for architects service picks up where the build leaves off.

Yes. Your ARB registration and RIBA chartered status go on the practice page and in the footer, with awards beside the projects they relate to. The details need to match the ARB register because clients can check it.

We write conversion-focused copy for every page using your existing content, the information you give us during onboarding and our own research into your services and competitors. For imagery, we’ll ask for your professional photography and renders and tell you which shots would help most.

That’s your call. Some practices publish a guide to how fees are worked out and others prefer to talk first. A page that explains your approach without exact figures answers the question without boxing you in.

No. We build for architecture practices all over the UK, with one project folder and a group chat throughout. Our recent work is on our projects page.
