Web Design for Builders
We design, write and build websites for builders and building firms across the UK, with the SEO foundations, tracking and hosting handled by the same team that builds it.

Our builder web design service builds your website around the work you want more of, whether that's extensions, renovations or new builds in the towns you cover. Every service gets its own page, your number is one tap away on a phone and the whole site is set up so Google knows what you do and where.
A Website That Wins Work
Homeowners judge your business by its website before they ever pick up the phone. If it looks cheap or out of date, they'll assume the work is too and ring the next builder on the list.
Charge What You're Worth
A website that looks as professional as your work lets you quote with confidence and win the customers who care about a proper job more than the cheapest price.
Get the Jobs You Want
Building the site around the work you want more of means your extension and renovation pages bring in extension and renovation enquiries rather than tyre-kickers.
Room to Grow
The website keeps up as the business grows. New services, new towns and new teams slot straight in without starting again.
Our Recent Websites
Here's some of our recent work for builders, home improvement businesses and the other firms we build for. Every site is built to rank locally and turn visitors into enquiries.
What's in a Builder's Website
Every building website we build is put together to a strict standard so that it's secure, visible and ready to scale. Here's what's included under the hood of every project.
- Each kind of project gets its own page, with a gallery of your finished work
- Your FMB, TrustMark and warranty details are shown where clients look for them
- A quote form that asks about plans, budget and start dates up front
- Location pages for the towns with real search demand, with the rest listed so customers know you cover them
- A mobile view designed first, with galleries that swipe properly and calls that take one tap
- Enquiry tracking from day one that shows which page produced the call
Project Pages & Galleries
Extensions, garage conversions, renovations and new builds each get a page with a gallery of your own finished work. Before, during and after shots show homeowners the part they worry about most, the house halfway through.
Accreditations & Warranties
Federation of Master Builders membership, TrustMark, any structural warranty you offer and your insurance details go where clients look for reassurance. Before launch we confirm each membership with you and that you’re cleared to show the logo.
Quote Forms That Qualify
Your enquiry form asks what you’d ask on the phone, such as what they’re planning, whether they have drawings or planning permission and when they want to start. You’ll know before you ring back whether it’s a porch or a two-storey extension.
Service Areas & Local SEO
We research the towns you cover before we build and create location pages for the areas with genuine search demand. The rest are listed clearly so customers know you’ll come out to them. We also wire in your Google Business Profile, your reviews and Schema markup so Google understands exactly what you do and where you do it.
Easy on a Phone
Plenty of homeowners browse builders on their phone of an evening, often with a partner looking over their shoulder. Designing the mobile view first means galleries swipe properly and ringing you takes one tap.
Performance, Security & Tracking
Speed and security are non-negotiable. We optimise all media into modern WebP formats, output clean code so your pages load rapidly and set up enquiry tracking so that you can see which pages are bringing in calls and forms.

Our Web Design Process
We don't like to leave things to chance which is why we follow a 4-step process that keeps your website delivered on time, strictly to brief and engineered for results from day one.
1. Discovery and Planning
We gather all your assets and conduct a full audit of your current online presence. We plan the site structure, map out the required pages and agree on the design direction before we start building. For a building business that means the projects you want, the work you’d turn down and how far you’ll travel.
2. Design and Development
We build your site on a private domain to ensure zero downtime to your business operations. We write the copy, build the bespoke layouts and keep you updated throughout. You have plenty of opportunity to review the work and request revisions to ensure it’s exactly what you want. We’ll ask for photos of finished projects and work in progress. Homeowners want to see how you leave a site.
3. Strict Quality Assurance
Before anyone else sees the site, we run it through our internal testing protocols. We test all contact forms, optimise performance, ensure cross-browser compatibility and verify that all SEO foundations and functionality is operating as intended. That includes every gallery and quote form on a phone. It’s where many people browse a builder’s work.
4. Zero-Downtime Launch
We handle the technical complexities of going live. We connect your Google Search Console, submit your new sitemaps and ensure a flawless, zero-downtime migration from your old site so you don’t lose a single visitor or email during the switch. We’ll show you how to add each finished project and its photos yourself.
Who You'll Work With
KK Digital is a family-run agency that Katie founded in 2017, with Will leading the web development and SEO. The people you speak to are the people doing the work, and you'll have the same point of contact before, during and after launch.
What It Costs
We don't use rigid pricing tiers. Our bespoke builds range between £1,500 and £15,000 depending on scope, and we run a proper discovery phase first so you get a clear, fixed-price proposal.
Who Owns the Website
Once everything's paid, the finished website is yours.
What Our Clients Say
Builder Web Design FAQs
How much does a website for a builder cost?
We don’t use rigid pricing tiers because every building business has different requirements. Our bespoke website builds range between £1,500 and £15,000, depending on how many project and location pages you need, the size of your galleries and a detailed quote form. We conduct a proper discovery phase first so we can provide a clear, fixed-price proposal. Ask for a builder website quote.
How long does a builder's website take?
Most of our builds take three to six weeks. How quickly you can send your accreditation details and a folder of finished project photos decides where you land in that. Because we work in clear phases, we stick to the agreed launch date once you’ve sent everything we need. You’ll see the whole site on a private link before it goes live.
Will the website get me found for builder searches near me?
No credible agency can promise a specific position. What we do is build every building website with the on-page, technical and local SEO foundations in place, including project pages, location pages for the areas you cover, structured data and a connected Google Business Profile. If you want to grow your visibility after launch, our SEO for builders service picks up where the build leaves off.
Can you show my FMB membership and warranties?
Yes. Your Federation of Master Builders membership, TrustMark registration and any insurance-backed warranty you offer can sit on every project page and beside your reviews. We’ll confirm each one with you before it goes live.
Can I add new projects myself?
Yes. You can add a finished job yourself with its photos and a few lines about it. We’ll show you how before launch.
Do you build websites for bigger construction companies?
Yes. Commercial contractors and larger construction firms need different pages, such as sectors, frameworks and case studies. We cover those on our web design for construction companies page.
Do you only work with builders near you?
No. We build for building businesses all over the UK, with one project folder and a group chat throughout. Our recent work is on our projects page.
