What Did AB Plumbing & Bathrooms Need?

Adam contacted us because he was tired of an unpredictable flow of leads and wanted to increase the amount of potential work in his pipeline.

The best way to do this for a trades company is Google Ads, as consumers physically search for companies when they’re in need of their services.

Working With KK Digital

Step 1 of this project was to have a thorough conversation with Adam to outline the type of leads he wants and the type of services he wants to perform. This is because Google ads allows you to customise the targeting of your ads and what they say, meaning we have full control over the type of leads we attract & the services we advertise.

From here, we built out the campaign with an ad group targeting each service and keywords to capture search intent. With this, we structured the targeting so that AB Plumbing & Bathroom’s ideal customers from their ideal locations would become new leads.

Finally, we optimised the respective landing pages to ensure a high level of ad relevance in order to reduce costs per click.

The End Results

Straight out of the gate, the ads were performing. There was one conversion tracking issue that was quickly remedied by our expert team so that accurate data could allow for effective optimisation. 

A very low ad budget of £10 meant that Google struggled to gather data but we managed to work towards a 7.61% conversion rate (higher than expected because of the small budget meaning we can target much more focused keywords to earn a higher ROAS). This accumulated highly-qualified & high-intent bathroom fitting leads at a cost of £29.06 per lead for Adam, giving substantial room for profits.

Adam even called us to say how busy he was getting and that he might be looking for an apprentice.
